Effective Educator’s Nuts to Bolts Tutoring and Mentoring Service

Countless times I’ve had discussions with parents, typically moms, about when and how to encourage their sons and daughters to meet their academic potential. Accountability is the buzzword. These moms come down on junior with such frequency and intensity as to render their relationship toxic and completely counterproductive to the goal: building a child’s academic skill set and mindset to complete work independently, like immediately. The first order of business at E2 test prep is to get the student’s cell number and to empower them to have agency. Some moms dig in harder, seemingly unable to delegate their delegation any further. The proverbial buck stops here! Perhaps they should google Rose Kennedy. And then hire me.

E2 has a stable of experienced tutors-many are medical students or phd candidates/graduates of Northwestern’s Applied Mathematics program. Some are current or former teachers or university lectures or professors. In short, we have a tool for every task.

And if the tool isnt a great fit, we can replace it. Or use a different tool.

• We want to share these professionals’ skill sets and aptitudes at an affordable hourly rate. Try it out for a month on us: you pay the hourly tutor rate of $75 (time will be billed in 15 minute increments).

• The program begins with our HOME VISIT. Matt will meet with the parents, acquire a working knowledge of each student’s curriculum and every day commitments. A digital calendar is constructed to reconcile the school calendar and note important dates and deadlines. A specific tutor is your child’s Captain.

The brain’s efficiency to focus is a science in of itself. An Ultradium Rhythm, an attention retaining techniques, is set. A gradual progression to an effective period of focus is begun. Other types of executive functioning and time management techniques are employed.

A monthly zoom with Matt, the Captain, parents and student are scheduled.

Rinse and repeat. Matt will remain a text away and available to parents and students at any hour.

E2 College Guidance Program

Our main academic vein has been the testing component of the college admissions process. We have referred countless families to legacy media reporters to develop college essays and prompts. We have helped many navigate the application process and have decades old relationships with high school couselorsy and private coaches. We are now helping taking on these tasks as a sort of natural progression of services. College admissions is a huge business and we feel best connected to provide a truly personalized journey. We are essentially publicizing what we’ve been doing for many of our current clients.
